Seed Sowing & Growing Notes
Start seed indoors in trays 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost; transplant out after all danger of frost has passed. Germination can be slow, so maintain consistent warmth and moisture until seedlings emerge.
Harvesting/Vase Life
Harvest when flower heads are fully rounded and bright yellow, before they begin to fade. Vase life is 10 to 14 days. Flowers can also be dried for later use. To dry, hang stems upside down in a warm, dark, well-ventilated area for 2 to 3 weeks until firm to the touch.
