Seed Sowing & Growing Notes
Start seeds indoors 4 to 6 weeks before the last frost or direct sow after all danger of frost has passed. Provide full sun and well-drained soil for best growth. Pinching young plants encourages bushier growth and more blooms. Regular deadheading will extend the flowering season.
Harvesting/Vase Life
Harvest when the flowers are fully open and petals are firm to the touch. Cut during the coolest part of the day, remove lower foliage, and place stems in water immediately. Vase life is 7 to 10 days with fresh water changes.
